Digital Scavenger Hunt
8am-6pm
Any ‘team’ [team is 2 or more people of any age] can enter the digital photography scavenger hunt by picking up list for hunt. You must register your team at the yard sale map table [on Main Street, corner of UniMart parking lot]. You have from 8am to 6pm [Friday July 12th ]to gather as many of the requested photos on list you can get. The team with the highest number of points wins. No pre-hunt list available. Winner award at Sock Hop Dance.

"The Colossal (Sandwich) Challenge"

Do you have a monstrous appetite? Do you think you can handle the Colossal Challenge at the Little it Deli? The Colossal Challenge is an eating challenge of our fried Mortadella sandwich. It is a 2.5 pound sandwich with 1 pound of mortadella, a half a pound of cheese, a huge bun and various toppings. The challenge will take place Friday July 12 @6:30pm at the Emlenton Mill. If you and a friend are interested in taking the challenge stop by the deli and sign up. First 4 teams to sign up get the sandwich for free and a portion of the proceeds go to the Addison Palmer fund. You must pre-register so there are enough sandwiches prepared.
"Emlenton's Got Talent" - Kids Only Talent Show
7:00pm - Crawford Center Auditorium
Do you sing? Dance? Juggle or play an instrument? Maybe you have a few new jokes you'd like to try out? This showcase is open to Emlenton area youth, ages 18 and under. Call to register by July 6th. Rehearsals will be Monday and Thursday at 7pm at the Crawford Center. There will be an admission fee to the show. Please call Marty at 724-867-5102 to sign-up and show Emlenton your talent! Peddle Car Activity - Keystone SMILES
1-4pm - Main Street near the Bike Trail
For ages 6-16. Keystone SMILES teaches safe driving and pedestrian skills to children by using hands on learning with our pedal cars. Using a simulated road, realistic road signs and proper instructions children get to experience the fun and fitness connected to learning proper road rules and etiquette. Keystone SMILES pedal cars and activities are maintained and supported through donations, of you would like to request or make a donation to this project please contact Keystone SMILES Community Learning Center at 814-797-2127.

The Keystone SMILES programs encompass 14 counties located in the northern tier of Pennsylvania. School and community-based initiatives primary focus is in rural communities located in Allegheny, Beaver, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, McKean, and Venango Counties. Local programs include: preschools, alternative education/YouthBuild USA programs, service-learning and community volunteer programs. Keystone SMILES also hosts a national service program called AmeriCorps.
