The Emlenton Rod & Gun Club held their annual Fishing Derby at Kahle Lake. Everyone in the contest received a prize for attending.

Ribbons and cash prizes were awarded to the winners. Refreshments and beverages were furnished by Emlenton Rod & Gun Club. This event was funded by the Elizabeth S. Black Charitable Trust. There were six fishing rods and various lures raffled off for the children donated by Joe McNany, and Tom Jackson.
